Letter Lab (letterlab.cc) is a free, self-built word learning site created for young children aged 2โ6. It contains four interactive activities: Letter Lab, Superhero Spelling Academy, Word Safari, and Puzzle Words.
The site has no commercial purpose. It was made by a parent, for their own children, and is shared publicly in case other families find it useful.
None. Letter Lab does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information about you or your child โ not names, not ages, not email addresses, nothing.
The only storage this site uses is your own browser's localStorage, which stores:
This data lives entirely on your device. It is never sent anywhere and we have no access to it. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
We use no cookies โ not for analytics, advertising, session tracking, or anything else. The site works without them.
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Workers. Cloudflare may log basic request metadata (IP addresses, request paths) as part of standard infrastructure operation. This is governed by Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
Letter Lab uses the Google Fonts API to load the Space Mono and DM Sans typefaces. Google may log font requests. You can read more in Google's Fonts FAQ.
No other third parties have any presence on this site. There are no analytics scripts, no advertising networks, no social media embeds, and no tracking pixels of any kind.
Letter Lab is designed specifically for young children. Because we collect no data at all, we have no information about any child's identity, location, behaviour, or activity. The site is safe to use without parental supervision from a data-privacy standpoint.
We comply with the spirit of COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) and the UK's Age Appropriate Design Code by design: there is simply nothing to collect.
If we ever change how the site handles data (for example, by adding hosting analytics), this page will be updated and the date above will reflect that change. Because the site collects nothing today, any meaningful change would be clearly visible here.
